We are pleased to announce changes to the audit procedures starting in 2025.
CWB News Audit procedure
• The LTL group will no longer serve as external auditor for compliance. SAMIC has been appointed as the new external auditor and will be reviewed annually for ISO 9001 compliance.
• Audit costs will be included in yearly membership fees, making it more cost-effective and fair for all CWB members.
• SAMIC will integrate audits with other evaluations to reduce visits and costs.
• Onsite audits will only be conducted for entities specified by the “Wagyu Quality Certificate,” reducing external audit visits.
• The HO-01 audit checklist is under review to streamline questions and avoid duplication, ensuring compliance with DALRRD mandates.
